Reliance Industries (RIL) is expected to start pumping gas from its D6 block, off the east cost of the country in November, the Directorate General of Hydrocarbons (DGH), V.K. Sibal, said on Wednesday. The company would initially pump 15mn metric standard cubic metres a day (mmscmd) of gas from its field in the Krishna Godavari basin, the country's upstream regulator told reporters in New Delhi today. "Most likely in November, maybe by end of November. Testing is going on. Maybe in three-four days we will be able to tell you the date," Sibal said on the sidelines of a conference.
