Japan's Mitsubishi UFJ Securities to team up with India's Tata Capital...

Japanese securities broker Mitsubishi UFJ Securities Co will join forces with India's leading financial firm, Tata Capital Ltd, to handle trading orders for Indian stocks from Japanese investors as well as investment banking services, the Nikkei reported on Wednesday, without citing sources.

Mitsubishi UFJ Securities and Tata Capital are expected to ink a memorandum of understanding on Wednesday, the business daily said.

Through their alliance, the Japanese brokerage will kick off full-scale Indian equity operations, making use of stock analysis reports published by Tata Capital.

Together, they will also assist Indian companies in mergers and acquisitions and help them raise funds and advise Japanese firms eyeing M&As with their Indian counterparts, the report said.

Mitsubishi UFJ Securities will also dispatch personnel to Tata Capital's investment banking division, and the two will work to promote investing in the Indian bond market.
